Chief Minister Provides Financial Assistance to Families of Drowning Victims

Agartala: May 11: Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha recently extended financial support to the families of seven individuals who lost their lives in separate drowning incidents in the western district. Each affected family received a cheque of ₹4 lakh, distributed in the presence of local administrative officials.

The tragic incidents occurred across various locations, claiming the lives of Piyali Debbarma and Priyanka Debbarma from Ramsadhupara under Sidai Police Station, Mahindra Singh from Joynagar in Jirania, Tanmoy Debnath from Mandai Para, Liton Saha from Ujan Abhoynagar, Prosanjit Debnath from Brajanagar in Majlishpur, and Ankush Rishi Das from Pratapgarh.

Expressing his condolences, the Chief Minister offered prayers for strength and resilience to the grieving families during this difficult time.
