CM highlights invaluable role, immense contribution of Nari Shakti in nation-building

Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated a programme titled Shaktishali Nari Shaktishali Bharat at Muktadhara auditorium here. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee and senior leaders also joined the programme.Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said, “After a long wait, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, the historic “Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam” was passed in 2023, providing 33% reservation for women in Parliament and State Legislative Assemblies”.“To create greater awareness among the people about this landmark Act, I joined a programme today organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Tripura Pradesh at Muktadhara Auditorium, Agartala, where we addressed the gathering on the invaluable role and immense contribution of Nari Shakti in nation-building”, he wrote on Facebook.Saha added, “This transformative legislation marks a significant step towards women-led development and a stronger, more inclusive democracy
