The railway connectivity will be fully restored by Monday with Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) working round the clock to clear the debris at Jatinga situated in Assam’s Dima Hasao district on April 27.The passenger train service has already been restored through Jatinga while medium loaded trains will start passing the ill-fated track from Saturday and heavy trains will be running from Sunday night or Monday, said a senior NFR official.Due to incessant rains in Dima Hasao district for the past few days, several railway services have been suspended indefinitely in the hill line. Common people and businessmen have faced great problems due to the suspension of rail and road communication in the hilly areas of the state and Assam in the North Eastern region. Petrol and Diesel saving has started as a government order. In this, the black market traders have started trying to create a crisis of daily goods due to the suspension of train services on several routes including Tripura since May 2.“The restriction on fuel will be removed once the railway track is ready for moving heavy trains at Jatinga. Works are going in full swing to clear the track at the earliest. The roadway is also made operational. Tankers carrying fuel are coming to the state. We hope the restriction on petrol and diesel will be removed shortly “, said an owner of a fuel outlet
