Grand Durga puja and Navratri celebrations at ONGC, Tripura Asset

The Durga Puja celebrations at ONGC Tripura Asset were held with immense enthusiasm and devotion from Maha Sasthi to Dussehra. The festivities concluded on Thursday with the traditional Ravan Dahan, featuring a 52-ft effigy, followed by a captivating Ram Leela performance by ONGC’s wards, symbolizing the organization’s unity in diversity. The cultural presentation received overwhelming appreciation from the audience.This year’s celebrations witnessed a larger-than-expected footfall, reflecting the deep-rooted cultural engagement and community participation.The celebrations were formally inaugurated on Maha Sasthi (28th September 2025) by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. (Prof.) Manik Saha. The event was also graced by the presence of the Chief Secretary of Tripura, the Director General of Police, the Director, Airports Authority of India and  eminent dignitaries, lending prestige to the occasion.Adding to the festive fervour, a nine-day Navratri and Garba Mahotsav was celebrated with great zeal from September 22  to October, 1. The Mahotsav beautifully showcased the vibrant cultural mosaic of the ONGC community through traditional music, dance, and colorful attire. Employees from across India came together to prepare diverse regional prasad and celebrate the festival in radiant unity in ONGC Colony premises.Leading from the front, Sanjeev Kumar Janjua, ED-Asset Manager and President of the Puja Committee, actively participated in the Aarti , Garba and programs inspiring employees and families to come together in the spirit of celebration and togetherness.Throughout the festive period, a variety of devotional, cultural, and community engagement activities were organized, reaffirming ONGC’s commitment to cultural harmony, inclusivity, and employee engagement.
