Agartala, March 9: No discussion with Tipra Matha on Greater Tipraland. However, public welfare has gained importance in the discussion. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha said this in a press conference at the official residence today. He said in no uncertain terms that the government will work sincerely for the overall development of the people of all sections including the development of the nation. He also said that he has directed the administration to take strict measures to prevent unrest in Tripura.

 

Incidentally, after the swearing-in ceremony of the Tripura Cabinet yesterday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP All India President JP Nadda, Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, BJP State President Rajeev Bhattacharya and other central leadership held talks with Tipra Matha. In that discussion, it was decided to appoint a mediator to solve the problems of the people.

The Chief Minister said that the second BJP-IPFT government will also work with the goal of solving the problems of the people in Tripura and how to work more for the overall development of the people. Along with this, he added, besides establishing the rule of law in Tripura, importance will also be given to the development of health, education, agriculture and sports sectors.

On this day, the chief minister said in a tone of anger that in Tripura recently, some self-interested groups are purposefully creating an atmosphere of unrest in various places. Tripura government will deal with such situation with a strong hand. The Tripura government is determined to uphold the rule of law. He claimed that those creating unrest in Tripura will not be tolerated in any way. The administration has been directed to take strict action against them.

The Chief Minister said that for the second time the people of Tripura have faith in the present government. Respecting this trust of the people, it is the prime responsibility of the government to deliver the benefits of development to the ultimate people of Tripura. According to him, the current Tripura government will work following the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

On this day, the Chief Minister said that MLA Binay Bhushan Das has been appointed Protem Speaker in today's Cabinet meeting. Moreover, introducing vote-on-account in the upcoming assembly session was also discussed in today's cabinet meeting. He congratulated the people of Tripura for forming the BJP-IPFT coalition government for the second time in Tripura. He congratulated and congratulated the officials, workers and all concerned at various levels of the administration including the security personnel associated with the election for completing the exemplary, orderly and peaceful polling in Tripura on February 16.

He added that the offices will be distributed among the cabinet members very soon. Besides, three vacant seats in the Cabinet will be filled as usual.
