IPFT to organize rally in December, says Prem Kumar Reang

With Lok Sabha election in mind, the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), an ally of the BJP led coalition government will organize a rally in December to strengthen its strength in the tribal belts.To make the rally a grand success, the party’s Central Executive Committee on Monday held a meeting in Agartala press club. All members of the party’s highest policy making body joined the meeting.“Today, we had a meeting to discuss the party's future programme and reviewed the organizational status in the tribal areas. The party has decided to hold a gathering in December to highlight the party's future programme”, said party president Prem Kumar Reang.It was also decided that all the divisional committees and district committees will be asked to prepare for the gathering. Although Reang, who was the minister of first BJP-IPFT government, did not mention the Lok Sabha elections, it appears the party is set to kick start its campaign for the crucial election by organizing the rally
