Manipuri Kala Akademi Inaugurates Week-Long Cultural Events

Agartala: Nov 23: On Saturday, the Manipuri Kala Akademi officially inaugurated a week-long series of events at the Agartala Press Club. The opening day featured a poetry reading session, marking the beginning of the seven-day program. The event was attended by notable figures, including MLA and prominent citizen Birjit Sinha, along with M. Joy Singh, President of the Tripura Sahitya Parishad, and other dignitaries.
On the first day, poets from Manipur joined Tripura's poets in a collaborative poetry reading, showcasing the cultural exchange between the two regions. The session highlighted the shared love for literature and the rich traditions of poetry in both states. The program aims to foster creative collaboration and strengthen bonds between the literary communities of Manipur and Tripura.
