MP Biplab Kumar Deb made ‘saha prabhari’ for Assembly election in West Bengal

 Member of Parliament (MP), Biplab Kumar Deb has been appointed as ‘saha prabhari’ for Assembly elections in West Bengal, scheduled to be held early next year, an official release of BJP said on Thursday.Deb, who was the chief minister of Tripura, will be the deputy of pradesh prabari Bhupendra Yadav, who is the Union Minister Forest and Climate Change.“BJP national president JP Nadda is pleased to appoint Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav as pradesh prabhari  and MP Biplab Kumar Deb as saha prabhari for the Assembly elections in West Bengal” party’s national general secretary Arun Singh said in a notification. Earlier, Deb had worked as the party's ‘saha prabhari’ for Assembly elections in Haryana.According to political analysts, the former Chief Minister who has been spearheading the GST awareness drive in northeastern state, has been appointed as saha prabhari of big states like West Bengal because of his success in handling crucial Assembly elections in Tripura and Haryana
