Bamutia, June 8 — A major administrative outreach camp was held on Saturday at the JB School grounds of Tuifania Lunga Tea Estate in Bamutia block, where a series of public welfare activities were organized for the benefit of local tea workers and residents.

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, along with senior government officials and local representatives, attended the event. Key initiatives at the camp included distribution of land pattas to tea workers, a tree plantation drive, a blood donation camp, and the distribution of agricultural equipment.

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Saha highlighted Tripura’s unique achievement of becoming the only state in the country to have implemented e-office systems across all administrative levels—from the cabinet to the three-tier panchayat structure. “In the past, people had to visit offices repeatedly without receiving proper attention. That scenario has changed. We are committed to delivering good governance to every household,” he stated.

On the healthcare front, the Chief Minister announced that a 100-bedded eye hospital will be constructed in the state at a cost of ₹5 crore to strengthen the medical infrastructure. He also informed the public about ongoing discussions with a delegation from AIIMS to further enhance healthcare services in Tripura.

Participating in the tree plantation drive, CM Saha emphasized the importance of collective progress, saying, “Nature teaches us to walk hand in hand. Planting trees is not just about saving the environment—it is a symbol of building stronger relationships.”

Tea workers and locals who received land pattas expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state government for the people-centric initiatives. The camp reflected the administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure inclusive development and last-mile delivery of welfare services.
