Agartala: Mar 25: In a recent exchange meeting held in support of BJP candidate Biplap Kumar Dev, nominated for the West Tripura constituency in the 4 Barajala assembly constituency, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made significant remarks. Taking a veiled jab at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, he asserted that the India Alliance would ultimately bear the letter “I” in its name.

The Chief Minister expressed skepticism about public acceptance of this coalition, labeling it an “evil alliance.” Reflecting on the state’s political landscape, he recalled a missed opportunity for the Congress. Despite their camaraderie in Delhi, the Congress faltered in Tripura, leading people to lose faith in their ability to effect change.

Highlighting the nation’s progress over the past decade under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Chief Minister emphasized infrastructure development and national security. The transformation since 2014 has been remarkable, reshaping the country’s face.

Addressing concerns about law and order, the Chief Minister cited Tripura’s impressive ranking—currently third out of 28 states—in terms of maintaining order. He attributed this success to efficient police administration, which operates impartially regardless of party affiliations.

As the tide of development sweeps through the state, the Chief Minister remains optimistic about Tripura’s future. Notably, several medical colleges from outside are contributing to this positive trajectory, fostering growth and opportunities for the region.
