Alumni Association distributing flood effected families By relief materials.

Maintaining their tradition this time also Shishu Bihar Alumni Association took initiative to help the flood effected families by distributing relief materials. Today the members of Shishu Bihar Alumni Association helped 1773 members of 528 families including the senior citizens and children. Today they visited Ramthakur Girls H.S. School relief camp, Pratapgarh Hrishi Colony English Medium School relief camp, Radhamadhab Mandir of Radhanagar and Hindi Higher Secondary School relief camp. They distributed drinking water, milk and some dry food to the effected individuals. In Ramthakur Girls H.S. School relief camp only there was more than 400 effected persons.During distribution of food in Ramthakur Girls H.S. School relief camp AMC Mayor cum MLA of 7-Ramnagar Constituency Dipak Majumder was present their as chief guest. Deputy Meyor of AMC, Manika Das and Counseller of word no. 31, Anjana Das was also present there along with mayor. Mayor praised the initiative of Shishu Bihar Alumni Association and told that this association always involve themselves in philanthropic works. He applauded the president and secretary of the association for their great initiatives.Deputy Mayor Manika Das was also present in the relief camp of Pratapgarh Hrishi Colony English Medium School and she also expressed her gratitude towards the initiative. During distribution of relief at Radhamadhob Mandir the local Councilor was present there.Tomorrow and day after tomorrow also such relief activity will be continued. President Amit Rakshit mentioned that alumni targets to help 3000+ families.Association Secretary Abhijit Samajpati also mentioned that alumni will work for Gomati and Khowai districts also. Where relief could not be sent directly there they will take help from NDRF team to reach out the effected persons. Alumni will also arrange health camps to the effected persons to prevent them from water born diseases.A veterinary doctor’s team will visit Gomati District on Sunday to treat effected cattle’s and to also provide them food. Vargab Bhattacharjee along with three veterinary doctors will complete the work.In today’s programme the members who involved on behalf of association are President Amit Rakshit, Secretary Abhijit Samajpati, Vice president Dr. Abhijit Sarkar, Moutushi Chowdhury,Joint Secretary Argha Bhattacharya, Office Secretary Shreyoshi Debbarma, Asst. Office Secretary Aman Roy, Sports Secretary Nabajyoti Roy, Asst. cultural secretary Antarlina Datta,Advisory Member Vargab Bhattacharya and Diya Chakraborty.
