BJP stages protest rally, oppns hatching conspiracy : CM

Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday warned the oppositions to refrain from making baseless allegations against the BJP led government as it functions in a transparent way.The Chief Minister's assertion came a day after CPI(M) protest rally and Congress’s rally for adequate assistance to the flood –hit victims.Saha who joined the BJP’s rally in protest against the CPI(M) and Congress’s separate rallies, said the opposition parties are engaged in hatching conspiracy against the government.“Now, the telling lie has become synonyms with the CPI(M) and Congress. They are bringing baseless allegation against the government. They are trying to mislead the people. I want to warn them of refrain from making false allegations because the government works in a transparent way. The BJP is winging election one after another.  It means the people are with us”, the Chief Minister told the reporters on Friday.Saha said the BJP has been observing the opposition’s activities for the past few days. “Today, we have organized a rally to protest their propaganda with a limited manpower. All the mandals also held such rallies to expose the opposition’s propaganda”, he said.BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee while addressing the rally lashed out CPI(M) for hits misrule during their regime.“They are raising the issue of Gandacherra. The people have not forgotten that violence in Gandacherra where as many as 82 persons were killed from 1993 to 1996 and thousands of people left their places due to insurgency”, he said.
