Female body trade in spas in Guwahati, another woman accused of graft from Jorhat

Guwahati, December 29 (H): Another accused woman has been arrested from Jorhat for allegedly running a business of female body in a beauty parlor and spa in Guwahati. The arrested woman has already been brought from Jorhat to Guwahati.

On the night of December 27, on the night of December 27, separate teams of the Crime Branch arrested seven people, including four young women, who owned several spas and beauty parlors in the city of Guwahati on the basis of allegations of female body trade. Based on their confession, the woman who owns a beauty parlor in Barua Chariali, Jorhat, was arrested.

From Jorhat, he allegedly ran a female body business in a spa in Guwahati. According to the police sources, a circle of five people was engaging many teenagers and young women in the trade of female bodies by various types of temptations. Apart from six female body traders, at least 16 young women and women were detained for questioning in the operation. However, they were reportedly released after questioning.

According to reports, organized crime branch officials raided Guwahati's Ulubari, Rajgarh and Lachitnagar areas on Tuesday night to identify two men and four women spa owners among the six arrested. They are Mili Sinha, Usha Daimari, Pahi Das, Janmani Das, Chinmoy Sharma and Tanmoy Das. Allegedly, they are involved in prostitution and human trafficking under the guise of spas and beauty parlours.
