Government Launches Tribal Indigenous Justice Maha Abhiyan to Empower Marginalized Communities

Agartala, Sept 05: The Prime Minister's Tribal Indigenous Justice Maha Abhiyan, launched in November 2023, aims to bring marginalized tribal communities to the forefront with 22 projects, focusing on the Riang tribal community in West Tripura.

District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar announced that the target is to make all 22 projects 100% successful in identified Village Councils and Gram Panchayat areas, including Old Agartala block, Belbari RD block, Radha Mohanpur VC, and others.

Efforts have been made to make several projects 100% successful in the last 8 months, including: Providing houses to those who didn't receive them under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Giving land through pattas to those who didn't have it, Ensuring drinking water to every house through Jal Jeevan Mission, Setting up administrative camps to provide benefits to Riang tribals through various projects

Administrative camps have been established in various places to provide benefits to Riang tribals through different projects, ensuring the success of the Tribal Indigenous Justice Maha Abhiyan.
