Reshuffle: South, Sepahijala gets new DMs

In a minor rejig in the administration, Smitha Mol, the director of Social Welfare and Social Education has been made the new District Magistrate (DM), South Tripura, according to an official order released on Thursday.She succeeded Nagesh Kumar, an IAS officer  who sent to Delhi on central deputation recently.  The incumbent DM, South, Siddarth Shiv Jaiswal has been made the new DM of Sepahijala. Senior TCA officer Animesh Debbarma has been made the director of higher education wile NC Sharma will continue to remain as director of elementary education.Prashant Badal Nagi, an IAS officer has been made the new director of Tourism and MD, TTDC and Tapan Kumar Das has been posted as the director of Social Welfare and Social Education.Senior TCS officer L. Darlong has been made the director of SCERT while Muhammad Sajad, an IAS officer has been given the charge of director of OBC Welfare.In another order, Debaprasad Roy, a TPS officer has returned as SDPO, Sadar while Panna Lal Sen has been made the Dy SP of SB.L. Darlong, an IPS officer has been made Asst Inspector General (AIG, Training) and H. Sunga Darlong has been posted as commandant of TSR, 13rd Battalion.
