APSC job scam: Biplab Sharma Commission notice to two gazetted officers

Guwahati, December 29 (H): Retired Justice Biplab Kumar Sharma Commission has issued notices to two gazetted officers working in the state in connection with the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) job scam.

In 2014, the Justice Biplab Sharma Commission has revealed explosive information about the APSC exam scam. Before issuing the notification, the Assistant Controller of Examinations took the names of these two officers before the Commission. After investigating, retired Justice Biplab Kumar Sharma got a lot of information against them.

It is alleged against these two that they got the jobs of gazette officers by passing the APSC examination in a crooked way. State Police DSP Bhanita Nath and Excise Superintendent Manvi Das have been sent notices. The two officers have been directed to appear before the commission within the next 15 days.
