Agartala: Dec 05: There is no end to the political killings in Charilam. The shadow of terror is not leaving behind the leaders and workers of the opposition political parties. CPI(M) branch secretary Liton Saha went missing in Dakshin Charilam. As the news of the disappearance spread, the entire area was in frenzy.

According to the details of the incident, around 8:30 pm on Sunday night, a local was sitting in front of a shop and talking with his friends, when a car stopped in front of the shop. Later, as soon as the car stopped, CPI(M) Bunch Secretary Liton Saha tried to leave. Then Liton never went home. He was not found after many searches. The news that he was not found until Monday morning caused a stir.

All family members including wife broke down in tears over the disappearance of CPIM worker Liton Saha. Later, Liton was recovered from the forest with his hands, feet and face bound. Liton said 3-4 youths wearing black cloths abducted him. Then he was stripped and tied up in the forest. A case will be filed at the police station, his family members said. The incident has created a lot of excitement. Before the announcement of the election, there has been increasing anger among the locals around such alarm signals.
