Industry Minister announces Industry fair, Business conclave

Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma on Wednesday announced Tripura Industries and Commerce Fair and Tripura Business Conclave 2025.The industry fair 2025 will be held at the Hapania International Fair Ground on January 25 to February 11 while the Business Conclave is scheduled for February 7-8, 2025, at Hotel Polo Towers here. The business Canclave, titled "Destination Tripura - Business Conclave, 2025", is set to highlight Tripura’s vast investment potential and foster growth across critical sectors such as IT, healthcare, tourism, and education.The Minister while addressing the media emphasized the state’s focus on creating an investor-friendly ecosystem with special focus on local businessmen and entrepreneurs .“Tripura is emerging as a significant investment destination in the Northeast. With its strategic location, abundant natural resources, and proactive policies, the state is poised to attract major investments in IT, tourism, education, and healthcare,” said the Minister.The press conference was also attended by Chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC), Secretary of Industry Kiran Gitte, and Director of Industry Viswashree V, who collectively underscored the state’s commitment to facilitating seamless collaboration between investors and the government.She said this year's Tripura' Industrial and Trade Fair will feature more stalls compared to the previous year. She mentioned that a total of 515 stalls will be set up. Additionally, she emphasized that this year's fair will focus on promoting local enterprises and products.Businessmen from Afghanistan, Turkey, Thailand and Dubai are expected to join the Industries and Commerce fair while businessmen from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan are also set to join.However, no traders from Bangladesh is coming to join the annual trade and business event
