Tripura Trinamool Chhatra Parishad's mass protest against fraud in the name of Vidyajyoti scheme

Agartala: Dec 05: Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Chhatra Parishad on Monday laid siege to the education minister's house over the deterioration of the state's education system. President of Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Chhatra Parishad Shivam Saha and other leaders were present on this day. On this day, the police brutally tortured and arrested Trinamool Chhatra Parishad workers during the house cordon operation.

In this context, President of Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Chhatra Parishad Shivam Saha said, "The BJP government has introduced a scheme called Vidyajyoti and is charging an annual fee of Rs 1,000 from each school. In this regard, we have informed the education authorities that students in various schools are leaving school because they cannot pay the money. Does the current government want boys to join their bike army instead of going to school? Today we besieged the residence of the education minister in protest against the anarchic environment this government is creating in the name of education."
