BJP to start Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan on Jan 11

To make a grand success of the two-week long Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan, the state unit of BJP on Thursday held a workshop at Nazrul Kalakshetra. Party general secretary for Assam and Tripura, Rabindra Raju, state’s incharge Rajdeep Roy, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee and Pranajit Singha Roy, the in-charge of the programme remained present in the workshop.While speaking, Pranajit Singha Roy said the party has decided to launch a two-week programme-    Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan to  make the people aware about the importance of our Constitution gifted by Baba Sahed Ambedkar.He said the state committee has already chalked out a detailed programme for Samvidhan Gaurav Abhijan to be held from January 11 to 25.The five-member committee will work in different segments- people belonging to SC, youth and women to garner people’s support for the Constitution.“As part of the plan, each mandal will offer a floral tribute to Baba Sabhed Ambedkar on January 11 and all the district committees will hold a special programme on the Samvidhan Gaurav Abhijan on January 17. On January 25, there will be rallies in all the mandal committees to aware the people about the importance of Constitution”, he said.Lashing out at the Congress and CPI(M), Singha Roy alleged both parties have shown little respect to the Constitution.“We have to understand the people that the country can’t move forward without Constitution. Therefore, our mission will be sensitise people about the Constitution and its importance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been moving forward with the country’s development. Sometimes, the opposition made attempt to stall the development. We must remain vigilant”, he said.  Singha Roy asked the party leaders including frontal organizations to join the programme to make it a grand success
