Price Hike for Bakery Products: TBA requests cooperation from the public

Agartala: Nov 20: From November 25th, the prices of bakery products will increase. Officials from the Tripura Bakery Association (TBA) informed the public about this decision during a press conference at the Agartala Press Club on Wednesday. The conference was attended by TBA Vice President Manik Saha, Biplab Ghosh, and General Secretary Kajol Chandra Modok, among others.

The press conference was held to notify the public about the upcoming price hike of bakery items, including bread, buns, cakes, biscuits, and cookies, starting from November 25. Manik Saha, the Vice President of TBA, mentioned that the bakeries will remain closed for the next two days, during which the existing stock will be sold out. The price hike will come into effect once the old stock is finished.

Saha also called on the general public for their cooperation in this matter. He explained that the prices of essential ingredients such as flour, sugar, and other raw materials have risen significantly. Additionally, wages for workers have also increased, contributing to the higher costs of production. As a result, bakery products will see a price increase across the board.
