Road raze continues , two more dead in fatal accidents

The road accidents continue to hunt the people with two more deaths reported during the past 24 hours.A five-year child, a nursery student of Belonia English Medium School died when a speedy Maruti van dashed him just in front of his house at Jarjaria on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Tripta Roy.Police said, Tripta Roy , a nursery student of  Belonia English Medium School died after he was hit by a speedy Maruti van at Jarjaria when he got down from another vehicle. Police have registered a case with Belonia police station and an investigation is on. No arrest has been made so far. The traffic incident caused a shock at the area.Another fatal road accident was reported from Pecharthal in the North district. According to police, the deceased was identified as Liyanjoy Chakma, a resident of Depacherra.“The incident took place when Liyanjoy who was riding on a scooty hit a tomtom at Pecharthal on Wednesday morning. He was seriously injured and he died later on. A case has registered with the police but no arrest has been made so far”, said a police officer.
