Cabinets approves proposal for creation of 255 posts

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Tuesday said the state cabinet cleared proposals to create 255 posts including 70 posts for setting up new offices of Dy Director of Prosecution in seven districts.“Our government is all set to bring new opportunities for job aspirants in the New Year. The Council of Ministers today gave approval for creating a good number of posts & filling up other vacant posts”, he wrote on Facebook.Saha said 70 posts will be created for setting up new offices of Dy Director of Prosecution in seven districts.The decision came after Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to the northeastern state laid emphasis on changing the approach of police to ensure people’s rights instead of focusing on insurgency.The Chief Minister said altogether 185 posts of different categories for Excise organization under the Finance department will also be created.Besides, the council of ministers also approved a proposal for filling up 100 posts of Junior Grade Stenographers (PA-II). BJP state president and MP, Rajib Bhattacharjee on Wednesday congratulated the Manik Saha led government for clearing appointment of 255 posts of different categories. “I congratulated the Chief Minister and his cabinet for clearing appointment of 255 posts of different categories”, he said during a press conference
