27-yr lady leaves hubby for alleged ill-treatment, complaint lodged with police

 A 27-year old woman has gone missing mysteriously from her house at Pandabpur in Bishalgarh police station, the victim's relative claimed on Monday.Priya Sarkar alias Payel, a resident of Kanchanmala under Amtali police station was married to Abhijit Das, a day wager of Pandabpur around five years back. Apparently the woman was not happy as her husband used to exploit mentally for the past two years.On February 17, when Abhijit, who returned home around 10 pm after his work at Gandhigram found his wife, Priya was missing from the house. He immediately, lodged complaint with the local police about missing of his wife.Abhijit also rushed to his in-laws house at Kanchanmala and revealed the matter. As she is still missing, one of her relative lodged a complaint with Amtali police station about the incident.“When Abhijit came to our house, we asked him if there was any quarrel between the two but he claimed there was no such issue. Then we wanted to know why she went missing. He could not reply properly”, said Aratibala Sarkar, one of the relatives of the missing woman.“Priya used to tell us that she was being used as a domestic help in her husband’s house! Even though they were married did live separate rooms despite being husband and wife. I suspect Priya left the home because of family trouble. We pray the police to recover their daughter safely”, she said. However, many suspect the woman might have eloped with someone else.When contacted, a police officer said they have started investigation into the complaint of both sides but could not make any headway yet
