Today, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) handed him over to the Chailafru Mag Border Security Force (BSF) in the presence of Indian and Bangladeshi immigration and police officers. The BSF issued a notification announcing this development.

Chailafru Mag was abducted while legally visiting Bangladesh a few days ago, with the kidnappers demanding a ransom of one lakh rupees.
