School Education Department organises massive school visits in Unakoti District

The Director, School Education, N.C. Sharma and Branch Officer of Pre-primary cum NIPUN Tripura cell Abhijit Samajpati today visited different schools, specially the vidyajyoti schools under Kumarghat, Pecharthol and Machmarra Blocks of Unakoti District. Total 10 schools were visited today. The visit process was started from yesterday and so in these two days all Vidyajyoti schools Of Unakoti District is possible to visit. The matters received top priority during visit was the use of TLMs during teaching-learning process, maintaining lesson plans by the teachers, quality maintenance of Mid-day-meal and maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene during cooking of mid-day-meal food as well as for the entire school premise. In every school Director personally talked with the students to know about their problems. He specially talked with the class 10 and 12 students who are going to appear for board examinations. Department will take strict actions against the cases found today where negligence was observed from teachers end or Headmasters end. During visits of vidyajyoti schools special emphasis was given for the teaching-learning process of board candidates. Director urged to practice previous 5years board question papers by each of the board candidates so that they could become competent on attempting national level question papers. During school visit Director also talked with the teachers to discuss about various matters. The teachers who were engaged with BLO responsibilities are asked not to hamper the teaching learning process of students to complete their tasks related with BLOship. Responsibilities will be fixed upon all, starting from teachers to IS, DEO and all others those who are attached with the education system. Inspector of Schools are asked to visit more schools and monitor each and every little issues of a school. After completion of the visit process Director met with all the Principals of Vidyajyoti schools and Inspector of Schools. There he declared an innovative practice of adopting students by the teachers in proportion to student's number in a class. If the result of students are not satisfactory then the teacher will be directly responsible for this. But if student achieves a good score the credit will obviously goes to the teacher.
