NEEPCO Conducts Cleanliness Drive at Dhanpur Market

Agartala: Sept 20: NEEPCO has taken a great initiative by conducting a cleanliness drive at Dhanpur Market, showcasing their commitment to community service and environmental responsibility. The event was part of the Swacchata Hi Seva Mission, where senior officers, including the Deputy General Manager (HR), and staff participated in the Shramdaan. It's wonderful to see Hon'ble MLA Shri Bindu Debnath and local community members joining in to support this noble cause.

This drive aligns with NEEPCO's broader goal of promoting clean and green energy, as emphasized by their CMD ¹. As a leading power corporation in the North Eastern region, NEEPCO has been actively exploring renewable energy sources and reducing their environmental footprint.

The week long cleanliness drive w.e.f. 22-06-2015 to 26-06-2015 under "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" was observed in the O/o the ED (O&M) where all the employees of the wing were involved in cleaning of the establishment.During the course of cleaning all old Electronic materials like Fax machine, Printer which are found to be unusable, were sent to HR wing for further disposal of the equipments, as per policy and all old papers, not required any more, were destroyed. All the Fans, Computers and other electronic items as well as office furniture were cleaned properly.
