Agartala, April 13: As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the political landscape in Tripura is abuzz with anticipation. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are slated to visit the state on April 15 and April 17, respectively. A strategic meeting has already taken place, bringing together the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its coalition partners, Tipra Matha and IPFT.

In a closed-door session at the Manikya Enclave on Saturday, leaders deliberated on the logistics for two upcoming public rallies. Here are the key highlights:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a rally in Kumarghat. Accompanying him will be the BJP’s nominee for the East Tripura constituency, Kriti Singh Debbarma, along with party leadership.

The people of Dholai district are urged to extend a warm welcome to Minister Shah on this significant day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the state on April 17. His presence is expected to galvanize the electorate and set the tone for the upcoming elections.

Following the visits by both leaders, the election results are poised to be historic for the nominated candidates. A massive gathering of 35,000 to 40,000 people is projected at the Union Home Minister’s rally in Kumarghat. The campaign trail has garnered positive responses from the public, fueling optimism that nominees Biplab Kumar Dev and Kriti Singh Debbarma will secure resounding victories in the impending elections.
