Educational Tour Organized by 156 BN BSF at Bagma

Agartala(Tripura), Jul 19. The 156 BN BSF Bagma organized an educational tour on Wednesday last for 24 wards of BSF personnel from both the 156 BN BSF and SHQ BSF Udaipur. The tour aimed to provide the children with a practical understanding of local industries and traditional crafts.

The tour commenced with a visit to the local MSME/Udyog Kutir at Udaipur, operated by the Bagma Agri Producer Company (BAPCL) Ltd, located in the Gomati district. The wards had the opportunity to witness firsthand the intricate processes involved in bamboo product manufacturing and various other local industries.

Following this, the group visited the Nalchar Bamboo Craft Producer Company Ltd in Nalchar, situated in the Sepahijala district. Here, the children were introduced to a diverse range of activities, including bamboo product manufacturing, fishing, farming, bee culture, piggery, duck farming, dairy, and mustard oil extraction.

This educational tour not only broadened the children's knowledge about local industries but also provided them with a deeper appreciation for the traditional crafts and agricultural practices prevalent in the Tripura region.
