Minor injured after Bomb explosion

Agartala: Mar 28: A 12-year-old student, Dipanta Debnath, was seriously injured in a bomb explosion in Udaipur's Gokulpur area. The incident occurred while Dipanta was searching for a cricket ball in a nearby jungle. As he approached a suspicious round object, it suddenly detonated, causing panic among the other children.

Dipanta was rushed to the Gomati District Hospital by his father, Biplab Debnath, and admitted to the surgical ward due to the severity of his injuries. The Radha Kishorepur Police Station is investigating the incident, but the exact origin of the bomb and how it ended up in the jungle remain unknown.

This incident has left the local community shaken, highlighting concerns about public safety, especially in areas where children play. It serves as a grim reminder of the importance of securing abandoned or potentially hazardous objects, particularly in rural and remote areas.
