Training on Entrepreneurship Development Programme Concludes in South Tripura

A six-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) training session, organized under the Poangbari R.D. Block of South Tripura District, concluded on July 16. The event, which began on July 11, saw the participation of thirty-five members from various Self Help Groups (SHGs) across the district.The training aimed to equip participants with essential entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, fostering self-reliance and promoting economic development in the region. Throughout the six days, attendees engaged in comprehensive sessions covering business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and the importance of innovation in entrepreneurship.The valedictory ceremony marked the end of the training programme, with significant contributions from Rajib Paul, LC Non-firm, TRLM, Poangbari RD Block, and Director Avijit Chakraborty. Both dignitaries emphasized the importance of such training programmes in empowering local communities and enhancing their economic prospects.Rajib Paul, in his address, highlighted the critical role of SHGs in driving grassroots economic growth. He encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training to their respective enterprises, fostering sustainable development and economic self-sufficiency.Director Avijit Chakraborty applauded the participants' enthusiasm and commitment throughout the training. He reiterated the government's dedication to supporting entrepreneurship initiatives and urged the SHG members to leverage the resources and support systems available to them.Participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to attend the EDP training, noting the valuable insights and practical skills gained.
