Youth Congress demands white paper on government employment

The Pradesh Youth Congress (TPYC) on Saturday urged Chief Minister Manik Saha to unveil white-paper on government sector employment during the BJP regime At a press conference, TPYC leader Sahajahan Islam said the Chief Minister has been making contradictory statements on the posts filled up during the BJP rule so far.“The people want to know how many youth have been employed in the government departments during the past seven years. On December 18,  2024, the Chief Minister said 13,000 posts were filled while on April 28, 2025, he claimed 16,942 jobs were given and only two-day ago, he stated 19, 262 posts of different categories were filled up”, he said.He said as per the Chief Minister’s statement, around 6000 jobs have been given in the government sector during the past four to six months.“We want the Chief Minister, who maintains a clean image, to publish a white paper on the employment of the government sector during the past seven years to clear the doubts”, he said
