Agartala: Jan 23: A serious medical error allegation has been made against a doctor, Arghamulya Debbarma, who delivered a baby at Khowai Hospital. The patient, Anima Tanti, was admitted to Cheberi Hospital on December 7th and was later referred to Khowai Hospital, where Dr. Debbarma performed the delivery.

Anima's husband, Bishwajit Tanti, claims that his wife did not urinate for two days after the delivery and was subsequently referred to GB Hospital. Doctors at GB Hospital allegedly stated that Anima had a kidney problem, which she had never experienced before. Bishwajit suspects that Dr. Debbarma cut the urinary tract during the surgery, leading to Anima's current condition.

Anima has undergone dialysis five times at GB Hospital and, although she can now urinate, her physical condition is deteriorating. Bishwajit has filed a complaint at the police station, demanding a thorough investigation into the incident. The investigation's outcome will determine the validity of the allegations against Dr. Debbarma.
