Health Awareness Camp Organized for Farmers in Gomati District

Gomati Health Administration, in collaboration with Bagma Agri Products Company Limited (BAPCL) under NABARD’s programme, has successfully organized a Health Awareness and Health Camp today at Bagma Basanta Jamatia Para School. This initiative has aimed to benefit the farming community by providing essential healthcare services and raising awareness about crucial health issues.The camp has offered comprehensive medical services, including TB screening and testing, non-communicable disease screenings, anemia detection, immunizations, and general health check-ups. These services have empowered farmers and local residents to take proactive steps toward better health. Speaking at the event, Rampada Jamatia has urged everyone to actively participate in the 100-day campaign launched by the Government of India to achieve a TB-free Tripura and India. The initiative has been praised for its efforts in improving healthcare accessibility for the farming community.During a recent programme at Jalema Basanta Para School, a dedicated team comprising Headmaster Sanjoy Jamatia, Sushanta Das, Lily Jamatia, Chandana Jamatia, and Juthika Jamatia has played a crucial role in delivering healthcare services to the local population.BAPCL Chairman Sudip Majumder has hailed the initiative as a remarkable success and has expressed enthusiasm for continued collaboration with the Health Department. He has also announced plans to organize two more health camps in Killa and Atharobhola in the coming months, ensuring sustained healthcare support for the region.This health awareness campaign has been widely appreciated, marking a significant step toward improving the well-being of farmers and their families in the Gomati district
