One died in road accident

Agartala: Feb 03: A tragic bike accident on Monday afternoon in the Kailasahar Chirakuti area has left one young man dead and another critically injured. The victims, Prasenjit Rajbhar and Ranjit Rajbhar, both from the Halaisara area of Kailasahar, had traveled to the city to attend the Saraswati Puja celebrations. While navigating the Kailasahar Chirakuti area, their motorcycle lost control and crashed into a road divider. The impact threw the two men off the bike, causing severe injuries.
Locals rushed to the scene, rescuing the victims and transporting them to the district hospital. Tragically, Prasenjit Rajbhar was pronounced dead upon arrival. Due to the critical condition of Ranjit Rajbhar, he was transferred to Agartala GB Hospital for further treatment. At the time of the report, Ranjit Rajbhar was fighting for his life.
The incident has shocked the local community, with many expressing sorrow over the young men's fate during the festive period. The Kailasahar police station has initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. Prasenjit Rajbhar's body is currently at the district hospital, awaiting post-mortem before being released to his family for funeral arrangements.
