Minister assure deceased family for Proper investigation

Agartala: Jan 22: Minister Ratan Lal Nath visited the family of Alisha Debbarma, a student from Lefunga who died under mysterious circumstances, to offer condolences and assure them of a thorough investigation. Alisha's body was found hanging in her hostel room at the Tripura Sports Council in Badharghat on Monday, sparking tension in the area .

During the meeting, Nath revealed that Alisha was the foster daughter of her parents. The family expressed doubts about the circumstances surrounding her death and demanded a proper investigation. Nath assured them that a case would be filed at the Women's Police Station in the West Police District and that Chief Minister Manik Saha and the Sports Minister would be informed of the situation.

The family's concerns reflect the seriousness of the case, and local authorities are expected to address the matter with urgency. Alisha was a sixth-grade student at Agartala Sports School, and her death has sent shockwaves through the community.
