Agartala: Dec 05: The Tripura Gaussia Samiti has finally spoken out against the persecution of minorities in Bangladesh, submitting a three-point memorandum to the West Tripura District Magistrate. The committee condemned the volatile situation in Bangladesh, where Hindus and other minority communities are being persecuted, their homes attacked, and property destroyed.

The committee also expressed outrage over videos of the Indian national flag being disrespected at an educational institution in Bangladesh, which have gone viral on social media. They demanded immediate action to stop the desecration of the flag, clarification on the videos, and an end to the persecution of minorities in Bangladesh.

Their demands also include protecting the dignity of religious minority leaders and their property. This isn't the first time concerns have been raised about anti-Hindu violence in Bangladesh. The VHP's Tripura chapter has also spoken out against the attacks, citing a surge in violence since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government.
