Directorate of Elementary Education today accepted offer of appointment for the posts of UGT and GT

Directorate of Elementary Education today accepted offer of appointment for the posts of UGT and GT at Shishu Bihar H.S. School, Agartala, where a total of 226 offers have been accepted out of 228 offers.Out of these 226 offers of appointment, 65 are for the post of UGT and 161 are for the post of GT (Elementary). Two candidates have surrendered their offers as one of them has already got appointment under Health Department and the other received offer of appointment for GT post.Joint Director of Elementary Education, Harshita Biswas in her words mentioned that very soon after the completion of official procedures those 226 candidates will get their place of posting. The Establishment Section of Elementary Education today very promptly and accurately completed the process of acceptance of offer of appointment.It is mentionable here that, on 30th April, 2025 an offer of appointment distribution ceremony was organized at Nazrul Kalakhshetra, Agartala where 228 TET qualified candidates have received their offer of appointment in the august presence of Honourable Chief Minister of Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha. Among them 66 were UGT candidates and 162 were GT (Elementary) candidates. Maximum number of offers was received by the candidates of West Tripura and South Tripura District that is of 51 each. Apart from this candidates from North Tripura were 19, from Unakoti were 14, from Dhalai were 18, from Khowai were 24, from Sepahijala were 27 and from Gomati were 24.Since 2018, till date 4884 number of appointments for teaching posts has been given under the Directorate of Elementary Education. In the same time period, total 4929 number of recruitments has been done, covering both teaching and non-teaching posts.On 27th April, 2025 and 4th May, 2025 TET Examinations had been conducted throughout the state.
