Vidyajyoti Schools did well in X, XII in 2025

The pass percentage of the Tripura government- run Vidyajyoti Schools which offer CBSE curriculum has increased substantially in this year’s class X and XII examinations, said an official on Wednesday.An average 86 percent pass percentage was recorded in 125 Vidyajyoti Schools in X this year’s result which was only 60 percent in 2024. Likewise, the pass-percentage at XII has increased from 50 percent in 2024 to 71 percent in 2025.“There have been quantum jump in both X (26%) and XII (21%) in the pass percentage of Vidyajyoti Schools in the CBSE results even as our journey to the CBSE curriculum is short”, Education department’s Spl Secretary Raval Hamendra Kumar said at a press conference.To provide quality education, the BJP led government has converted 125 schools into Vidyajyoti Schools during the 2022-2023 academic year.“In X standard, out of 125 schools, cent percent students of 15 schools have cleared their examinations while only one school registered 100 percent success last year (2024). In 2024, no Vidyajyoti schools recorded cent percent success rate but this time (2025) at least five schools did it”, he said.Kumar said the state’s pass percentage in X level is 2 percent more than the schools functioning under Guwahati region (CBSE)
