Agartala: Oct 07: In response to the recent unrest in Kadamtala, opposition leader Jitendra Chaudhury has criticized the state government’s actions, alleging that they have been detrimental to public interest over the past six years. Chaudhury expressed his concerns on Monday, highlighting incidents in Gandachhara and Ranirbazar as examples of the government’s failures, which he claims are being repeated in Kadamtala.

Chaudhury appealed to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, urging them to address the provocative social media comments made by ministers Sudhanshu Das and Tinku Roy. He emphasized the need for ministers to promote peace rather than contribute to unrest.

The opposition leader also criticized the police for not acting promptly, suggesting that timely intervention could have prevented the violence and loss of life in Kadamtala. He called on the people of Tripura to maintain unity and prevent further division within the state.
