Agartala: Dec 26: Under the pressure of the ruling party organization, Minister of the concerned department Santana Chakma opened up about social allowance. Many beneficiaries have not received social allowances in their bank accounts for the past few months. Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, many complaints are being raised on social media against the minister of the department and the state government.

Later, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Minister Santana Chakma told the media that many beneficiaries’ names have been cut from the list of social allowances being promoted by the opposition party in the state. But such propaganda is complete falsehood because the portal that the office has has changed. It takes months for the beneficiaries to get the allowance.

Beneficiaries have also been instructed to pay through the bank. The bank authorities said that all the money will go to the beneficiary's account within a week. Beneficiaries do not have to worry about this. The minister also said that no allowance recipient's name has been cut. There is no need to worry. All the beneficiaries will get the money in next two-three days. The Mahila Morcha delegation congratulated the minister on receiving the assurance. And inform the beneficiaries to avoid any confusion.
