Agartala: May 06: The Higher Education Department of Tripura has officially canceled the scheduled summer vacation for general degree colleges, professional colleges, and technical institutes across the state. According to a new notification, institutions that were originally set to observe summer holidays from May 9 to June 3—a span of 26 days—will now remain fully operational during this period. This decision comes in light of the department’s efforts to streamline academic activities, particularly focusing on the timely conduct of semester examinations, ongoing admission processes, and regular classes.

The move is aimed at maintaining the academic calendar and ensuring that disruptions do not affect the educational progress of students. With the cancellation of the summer break, colleges are expected to continue with their routine schedules, which include examinations, admissions, and academic sessions without interruption.
