Bomb attack  CPIM worker house, causing damage to a wall and an electric pole

Agarrtala: Jan 05: An alleged bomb attack occurred at the residence of Tapan Shil, a CPI(M) worker, in the Anandnagar area of the Bardhaman Purba Assembly constituency. The bomb did not enter the house but exploded against the wall, causing damage to a wall and an electric pole.

Upon receiving the news, local MLA Sudip Sarkar visited the Airport police station on Sunday morning to file a complaint. Speaking to the media, he stated that the incident was an attempt to disrupt the peace in the area and urged the police to arrest the culprits and take appropriate action.
