Agartala: Mar 08: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) has been accused of operating with a criminal mindset and spreading confusion about a public gathering on social media. According to Subrata Chakraborty, the state BJP spokesperson, the CPIM's allegations are baseless and part of their "misrule politics" in the state ¹.

Chakraborty emphasized that tomorrow's public gathering will be historic, with prominent leaders like BJP's all-India president and health minister JP Nadda, Chief Minister of Tripura (Dr.) Manik Saha, and other ministers and party leaders in attendance. He encouraged the general public to participate, highlighting the benefits of the BJP government's development decisions over the last seven years.

The CPIM has a complex history, having emerged from a division within the Communist Party of India in 1964. The party has been involved in various movements and alliances, including the Naxalbari uprising and the formation of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) ¹.

In this context, the accusations against the CPIM are part of a broader political landscape. While the CPIM has been critical of the BJP government, the BJP has also been vocal about the CPIM's alleged misrule and criminal mindset.
