Agartala, September 29. On September 30, Tipra Matha ADC called a 12-hour bandh in the area to demand constitutional demands. Examinations have started in schools. On 30th September, the examination of students was held. But due to the ban on this day, the exam has been postponed to November 1. As a result, the students and parents were extremely angry. On the other hand, the season of worship, businessmen are busy with their business. Traders will face a lot of problems due to the closure for more time during the day. And considering all this, CPIM i.e. Left Front issued a statement demanding people to oppose the bandh.

In the statement, they revealed that there is now an acute shortage of work, education, health, communication and even drinking water in the ADC area. Due to the gross failure of the BJP government in the state, the minimum services to the people across the state have collapsed. People are disoriented by the fire prices of daily necessities including food items. There is a shortage of work; unemployment has become acute everywhere in villages and cities. As there is no elected committee of village committee in ADC area, Tipra Matha and BJP leaders are busy looting government money. The CPIM has alleged that there is extreme frustration among the Tipra Matha party workers.

On the other hand, people irrespective of caste and tribe have started taking to the streets against the double engine government of the state. At this time, the Tipra Matha has called the strike to cover up its failure to fulfill its promises and to divert public sentiment against the BJP. The Tripura Left Front Committee appealed to the people of the state to oppose the strike through this statement. Although the so-called Maharaja, while announcing this bandh, told the people that they should protest through Thansa. Then the voice will reach Delhi. But the CPM has complained that this noise has become deafening to the locals.

It has also been said on behalf of CPIM, the tradition of such bandhs in the state has already made the existence of IPFT in the face of existential crisis. Whether the demands are met or not, the common people are used to seeing the image of the people taking the opportunity of the simple personality and bringing them to the streets with emotion. Allegedly, after the establishment of the BJP government in the ADC and the establishment of the BJP government in the state, instead of finding a way to solve the basic problems of the people, they are choosing activities like various movements and programs. Bandh was once opposed by Pradyot. He used to disapprove of bandh, saying it could not solve any problem. Today, he is the one who is trying to make fun of the emotions of the people by calling bandh and creating problems during the puja and exam season, the CPIM has alleged.
