E.P.Y.A Initiated Mega Cricket Tournament Series.

Agartala: Feb 17:   With the initiative East Pilak Youngsters Association an inspiring mega cricket tournament competition series has been initiated here in East Pilak village under Baikhara PS in Shantir Bazar, South Tripura. As per the report, aiming to the  youngsters of the area the authority initiated this series as a part of Prayaas programme. To generate genuine motivation amidst the new generation over sports police public unitedly conducted this tournament series where 66 teams will play in sequence  and it will be continuing for around two months. The series competition has been initiated from 12th of February 2024 and day by day it is creating enthusiasm amongst the people.Targeting to diverse youngsters from narcotics to games and sports special initiative has been taken through this cricket series. On the other hand to promote the police public relationship like this initiative is working well. Today's competition was played between Debdaru OP team Vs Mangal Prasad  Para team where the OP team has gained the victory. The achievement of Debdaru OP is 106/7/12 0ver and Mangal Prasad Para gained 71/8/12 over. PSI Kamalesh D/B of Baikhara PS got man of the match status. According to Debdaru OP OC Bakuljoy Reang, the tournament competition was quite inspiring and many local youths have gathered in the ground. Our fundamental goal is to create good relationship with local youths and generate awareness over the deadliest consequence of drugs utility amidst youngsters which is responsible for life destruction of many youths of the society. Aiming to create healthy social atmosphere through sports series it is an endeavour to keep the youngster away from drugs and antisocial tendency and pour spirit of games and sports amidst the young generation. Budhiram Tripura one of the organizing committee member said, "Games and sports are very important for our youngsters to maintain their good health and we are trying our heart and soul to create tendency towards sports of the Young generation of the society which will assist them to stay away from the druggists and drunkards."
