Five Bangladeshi nationals arrested in Khowai border

 Five Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from Tripura’s Khowai district for entering Indian soil without any valid document, said a police officer on Monday.The five Bangladeshi citizens identified as Litan Das (37), Babul Das (26), Pankaj Sarkar (18), Nikku Sarkar (22) and Rupan Das (26) were snaked into Khowai after crossing over border fencing at Asharambari, a border village, were going to Santirbazar in South Tripura district.“They entered Indian territory after crossing over border fencing at Asharambari. When the five were travelling from Ashrambari to Santirbazar by a vehicle, they were detained”, said the official.He said they could not show any passport or visa for travelling Indian territory during search and  all of them were arrested for entering Khowai without passports, he said adding Bangladeshi and Indian notes were found from their passion.The five arrested Bangladeshi nationals were produced before court seeking interrogation, he added.Meanwhile, Hannan Miah, a resident of Sepahijala district’s Matinagar, who was wanted in a human trafficking case, were arrested from Rastarmatha under Bishalgarh police station on Sunday, said Officer in Charge (OC), Bishalgarh police station, Rana Chatterjee
