GRP arrested Five human traffickers

Agartala: Jan 06: In the late hours of Sunday night, the Agartala GRP (Government Railway Police) arrested five human traffickers based on a tip-off. The operation took place in the Bishalgarh sub-division, and the arrested individuals are facing charges in a case registered at the Agartala GRP station.
The arrests were made with the assistance of the Madhupur Police Station, Border Security Force (BSF), and Intelligence Wing. The suspects were apprehended from various areas, including Puratal Rajnagar, Kaiyadepha, Harihordola, and Konaban. The five individuals arrested include Jayanta Das from North Kaiyadepha, Samir Das, Gour Chand Debnath (alias Sanu), Zakir Hossain from Puratal Rajnagar, and Mobin Mia.
The arrested traffickers are accused of being involved in human trafficking activities in the region, and their arrest is a significant development in the ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking. The police operation was coordinated across multiple agencies to ensure the swift capture of the suspects.
