Kailashahar police station busts two youths with brown sugar and a bike

Agartala: Mar 11: In a significant operation, the Kailashahar police station apprehended two youths possessing brown sugar, along with a seized bike. The suspects were arrested after a tip-off led police to set up a surprise operation at a naka point in the Chinibagan area. The youths were caught at 2 am, and a search revealed brown sugar hidden in five soap boxes ¹.

The estimated market value of the seized brown sugar is around four lakh taka. This substantial seizure highlights concerns about drug trafficking, particularly brown sugar smuggling, in the region. Legal proceedings have begun against the arrested individuals, with authorities promising to take action according to the law.
