NSD inks MoU to set up full-fledged centre

 The Tripura government has allocated land measuring 2.36 acres for setting up a full -fledged National School of Drama (NSD) centre in West Tripura’s Ranirbazar, an official said on Thursday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the state government and the NSD authority has already been signed in presence of Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department’s Director Bimbisar Bhattacharjee on Tuesday.

NSD Registrar Pradip Kumar Mohanty and NSD, Agartala Centre’s director Biplab Borkakoti also remained at the MoU signing ceremony.

“Based on the NSD’s request the state government has provided land measuring 2.36 acres of land at Ranirbazar in West Tripura. A formal MoU has been inked between both sides”, NSD’s Agartala Centre programme coordinator, Subir Roy said
